Apart from planning and implementing of comprehensive process systems, BRINOX can also, at the client’s request, design and implement individual process units. Our company has extensive experience in the field of pasteurization, storage, and cleaning systems, sterilization, and drying of production equipment in the food-processing industry.

Automatic Receiving of Raw Milk

Automatic Vehicle and Driver Identification

  • All necessary information on the receiving of milk (temperature, quantity, details of vehicle and driver) are recorded automatically and stored in a central control system. The data can be used for the verification and optimization of the processes.
  • The terminal at the receiving of milk allows the selection of receiving site and storage cistern.
  • The driver and road tanker are automatically identified by using RFID cards.

Gravitational Receiving of Raw Milk

The raw milk from the tank truck falls through gravity into containers for de-ventilation in order to exclude the maximum amount of air from the milk.
Air in milk (there can be 10 % or more) is undesirable because:

  • Errors in volume measurement of the received amount of milk
  • Causes burns on the pasteurizer
  • Reduces the capacity of milk skimming in the separator
  • Prevents accurate automatic standardization of milk

We design and manufacture the units on special frames, which allows for:

  • Simple and user friendly management
  • Optimal spatial installation of components

Membrane technologies - MF, UF, NF, RO

Membrane technology is used in a wide variety of processes, such as whey or milk separation, desalination, water purification, beer clarification, gas separation and electrodialysis.

Example: Process Units for Ultra-Filtration – Production of Feta Cheese

Ultrafiltration is a procedure whereby we concentrate proteins, fats and insoluble salts in milk. With this procedure we achieve the following:

  1. Continuous production of fresh cheese
  2. We obtain more cheese from the same quantity of milk (better efficiency)
  3. No whey (less burden on the environment)
  4. Less use of culture

Drying Towers

Brinox designs and manufactures processing units for the preparation of solutions for drying towers from receiving the raw materials to drying in the drying tower.

We design and manufacture all units according to the client's requests enabling:

Unit for Dissolving Sugar

Highly economical:

  • Energy savings – heating is not required (up to 69° Brix).
  • Time savings – sugar is mixed directly into the flow of water
  • Space savings – compact construction, special duplicators are not required
  • Low maintenance costs – without complex mechanical devices
